The flap wheels have application preparatory work, pretreatment. These discs are particularly suitable for applications from steel and cast steel, alloyed, tempered steels, tool steels, rust, acid and heat resistant steel, cast iron, plastic, wood, rubber.
Common Characteristics
The wheel discs are consist of individual flaps radially located around the hub of the disc. They are available in regular aluminium oxide (A), silicon carbide © and zirconia aluminium oxide. The combination of coated abrasive and abrasive fleece allows for a greater stock removal compared to the SFV product type. SFM discs are mainly used in hand-held power tools.
